Sticky threads: A modest proposal

Just a thougt for keeping the sticky threads clean and readable: Making them moderated.
Means: Every addition to the threads needs approval.
We all know (I think) those posts just asking the same issues over and over just because basic instructions are ignored by ignorant users.
We could not avoid ignorant users, we have to cope with them.
A second (at least) thread will be neccessary for those.

Just my 2 cents. Don't know if possible/wanted by those in charge.

That would just mean that the mods would have to spend a heap of time approving a bunch of posts.

I think it would be better if people simply PM myself, if there is any information in these threads that you feel should be made prominent.  Then I can compile the useful info into locked sticky threads.
