I've searched with no success.  I'm trying to FPS Override but It will not go above 35fps.  Is there a post about the exact process anywhere?  I have Alpha & magiclantern-Nightly.2014Oct08.5D2212 installed.

Is my card too slow and that's the reason I can't go above 35fps?
Is it required to shoot Raw to do 48fps?

Use Canon menu (in your camera) and set video mode to 720p instead of 1080.
This way you'll be able to record either 50p(PAL) or 60P(NTSC), for lower frame rates use FPS override(48 fps).

Warning, 720p skips some more line by sensor readout(nothing you can do about...), you need to stretch your image vertical in post by about 1.6 times...
only way the sensor can be read out this fast is by skipping more lines and giving this image that needs to be stretched in post.

On the 5D Mark II It's Not Possible , maximum frame in the Canon Menu is 30 FPS and ML tweaks this to get 35 by adjusting the A & B timers.
23.976 fps is maximum for Raw continuous @ 1856x923 where as 30 fps is not .

5D2 Can not do 720 60p , you must be thinking of the 5D3  :D

Thank You.  I have a Mark III coming.  So it should be simple then huh?
Any requirements on card speed?

Shooting raw can give you beautiful 50 fps on a 5D mark 3
