500d Autofocus doesn't work

Hi the autofocus on my 50mm 1.8 isn't working since the same day I installed ML, (but i was using without problems for couple of hours).
I never have problems with my old ML version (previous of Nighty Builds), but with Nighty Builds i have some crash reports and the problem with the AF
Have any idea about what can I do?

Shutdown camera. Start cam and keep SET pressed during startup. Is AF working?

Does not sound ML related.
Try removing battery, removing card. Then reinsert battery and startup without card. Is AF working?

As I said: Looks like your problem is unrelated to ML.
Is it possible to try another 50/1.8?
Or mounting your lens to another cam?

Sorry for not giving an answer before, as you said it looks like the trouble was with the lens. Same trouble in other cameras
