Does ML have a feature where we can take pictures without having to increase the shutter count on a Canon 50D? If so, where can I find the instructions on how to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Sure do...

Be sure to merge with current FULL_RES module in order to get the full resolution silent pictures.

Please don't link random builds in the forum.  There is a reason why full res silent pics isn't even in the nightlies (which itself is not stable).

2 seconds browsing the forum would provide the answer, and the OP should be aware of what he is in for before trying these experimental builds.

Thanks. :)

Copy thAt @Audionut. Best if I'll leave that for you to dig in and learn just like how we all did, @v1rt?

My apologies...

Top of page -> Downloads -> Browse Nightly Builds -> Features.
The silent picture feature described there is not the one (full-res silent pics) discussed here as bleeding edge.

That helped me a lot! :)

Here is another question, using Silent, can we combine it with long exposure or bulb mode? I'm planning to use it to create timelapse of stars or milky way.

Try movie mode with fps override. If 0.15 fps are enough, of course.
