5D mk3 conversions to cinema dng overexposing

hey all . . . now I know the nature of raw files . . . but is there any reason when I use Rawmagic to convert 5d 3 raw files to cinema dngs that when I go to view them in ACR or Resolve they look overexposed?  I deliberately underexposed the footage but now there are 2-3 stops in difference when I view the dngs.

RAWMagic is not supported here. Use a different converter and post examples to show what you mean
