Superb.

A quick question - why do you edit in premier. Isn't DV 11 as capable an editor?

Love your work!

Do you have a Few & Far outlet in Singapore?
Canon 5D Mark III, Gopro Hero Blacks with 3D Casing, A Few Lenses, Adobe CC 2014, MacBook Pro, Windows 8 PC, Lots of Video Rig!

Started Nuke. Loved it but then the 15 day trial ran out. Back to After Effects and loving it :-)

Cheers!

I edit in Premier as it's all connected on the Creative Cloud network (which allows me to edit in After Effects and what not)

They have a website which ships world wide: http://fewandfarcollective.com/

Hey!

Great video!! Are you shooting 50fps at 1080p? Is that possible? Is it continuous?
Also, did you use post stabilization? It looks very very smooth!
Lenses??
How many cards?

Congrats, cheers!!

cale.rodriguez

Hey, cheers for that.

I shot at 1920x612 and stretched it to 1080 in post. Some shots were at 25fps, so it was already in 1920x1080 (16:9 format)

I used four 32gb x1066 Lexar professional cards and had my laptop on me at all times to dump each card.

My trust worthy Sigma 50mm 1.4 and Sigma 70-200mm was all that was needed.

I had a shoulder rig, though used post-stabilizer to crease out the wrinkles.

Awesome job!

How many seconds did you get 50p at that resolution? I can usually only manage about 6 or 7 seconds with a lexar 1000x on 1.2.3

cale.rodriguez

I'm still on 1.1.3 and shot using 1920x612 and stretched up the footage to 1080 in post.

I can shoot for 15 seconds, which is plenty

That's awesome and a great advantage of being on 1.1.3! I don't think we as a community ever got to the bottom of why we get such short 50/60p times on 1.2.3
