What are the advantages of using raw_MLV instead of raw_REC?

I've been filming a music video the past 2 weekends...
first weekend I shot raw_rec.
next weekend I switched to raw_MLV...

not sure how it's better.
seems harder to convert with mlv.

I was having a strange issue if I zoomed in or tilted the camera weird, the color would change...
will be posting examples soon, hope someone can help me fix that problem. Not sure if it's simply just cause I was using a zoom lens? ML have a problem with that?

raw_rec is the old version. raw_mlv is the new magiclantern container version.

@kukurio for the moment, MLV can record audio MLV and it´s a little less stable. Old Raw can´t rec wav.
More possibilities with MLV in the near future.
