I have a Canon ti1 and a spyder4pro and like to have all my displays calibrated. I'm having difficulty profiling the device as the jpeg's I've uploaded to measure gray balance will not display on the camera. I had to use an sd reader just to copy the files as it will not allow it if the sd card is plugged into the camera. But there's a strange icon displayed instead of the image preview.

The only thing I can surmise is it has a slight green tint in the whites, and possibly reds are nonexistent in the blacks. If I can get the jpgs displayed on the camera I can give the values to someone to correct the color to achieve true 2.2 gamma srgb color balance. I'm not expecting perfection but even my tv has a 10p white balance along with rgbcym calibration.

1. snap a picture  with the camera set to JPEG small
2. open it in photoshop
3. paste the image you use to calibrate on top
4. overwrite the image on the card (not save as, just SAVE, don't change any settings)
5. now you can view your color bars on the camera's lcd
