Hey!
I just got a 650d and installed magic lantern.
When shooting raw video I get allot of skipped frames. Also when I extract the video is very speed up.
Are those 2 related ? How can this be fixed?
Thanks.

Levas

Skipped frames = speed up video

Try a lower resolution so you don't get skipped frames anymore.
If you're card is fast enough, you could probably do 1280 x 720 resolution, without frame skipping.

I understand.
Can I do more than 1280 x 720 with a very fast card ?

No, not on a 650D.

Thank you very much.
One more thing. I noiticed that the output video is basicly a crop of the video i see on the display when i shoot at a lower resolution. How can I make the display video Look like the output video?

Levas

No crop -> use canon standard video recording  :P

With raw recording, if you lower the resolution, you're cropping, that's how things work, nothing can be done about it...

Keep pressing the info button until you get to the Magic Lantern view. If you've got Global Draw on, you'll see the crop box showing what your actual file will look like
