it uses the data from the accelerometer in the phone for stabilization, as dslrs don't have one it might be complicated, but here is someone who figured out a hardware add-on to solve this: http://petapixel.com/2014/09/05/steadxp-hopes-add-accelerometer-dslrs-gopros-better-image-stabilization/
