Thought I'd share this.

Turns this cheapo lens in to a beast of a macro lens.

Now imagine using this lens with 3x Crop
once you go raw you never go back

What is actually the point?
If construction / modding lenses, then sure, it's great, but in regards to it's general usefulness caculo has a point.
I mean, you can get the same IQ, or even better with a macro-extended prime, isnt it so?

the point is this guy is an awesome hardware hacker and not only did he execute a very useful hack/mod to this lens (that everybody got with their camera, but never uses) and made it useful again. Not only that, but he made an awesome video with lots of really cool macro shots...

I'm sure he is well aware of cheap adapters...
