H.264 Playback on 50D

I know that the 50D was never intended for video capture in the first place, but is it possible to get H.264 playback working? I find myself turning off Raw in favour of 3X bitrate H.264 at times but being able to play back right away would be awesome!

If H.264 playback is part of the 50D firmware, we don't know how to access it.  If it's not, a software solution would need to be developed, but the performance would likely be poor.

Oh ok I see. Sad story  . Hopeful that someone may figure it out someday though!
