Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? On many of my shots, I end up with this weird color bleeding. It's almost always with brighter colors.
using 5D Mark II . Shooting with the latest firmware and ML build for it.

white balance: sunny
iso: 100
shutter: 1/60
picture style: faithful
resolution: 1856
FPS 23.976
aspect ratio: 2.35:1

Using RAWmagic lite to convert from RAW video to .dng (not using MLV format). I have a mac. I've even tried importing the DNG files into lightroom and directly into AE, both have these color issues. It's either happening in camera, or during the process of becoming .dng files. Also White balance has nothing to do with it.

I've looked everywhere online and can't find anyone complaining of something like this.

Ideas?

Looks like some enormous chroma averaging/blur is going on.
If your liveview on camera isn't showing this, then I think it's definitely happening in RAWmagic lite to dng conversion

Maybe try an older version of raw magic

Send me or upload a DNG file that shows the problem. What version of RAWMagic are you using?

rcpopart

tried it out. still there. I am suspecting something happening in the camera maybe?

Thomas,

Sent you a message with a link to my dropbox where the .dng file is

The DNG looks OK to me. I sent you a link to what came out of Photoshop (Camera RAW).
