i'm using ml v.2.3.600d.102

on my camera it says: Firmware version: 1.0.1-ml-v.2.3

Even though i rerun the firmware update, I dont get the screen that would let me turn the dial and disable the bootflag. the indicator turns on and off and nothing happens, so I remove the battery

I need to set the camera to default state since Im selling the camera. Please help me.

Sorry, but your post doesn't make much sense.
Each ML version has been built for a dedicated firmware version (= Canon's firmware version).
If you have Canon firmware 1.0.1 running you have to use the proper ML version designed for 1.0.1.

May I suggest to install Canon's firmware version 1.0.2, then download ML's latest nightly and run firmware upgrade from Canon's menu. Just wait for the timeout and the installation procedure will cleanup cam's bootflag.

you made my day

it seems 2.3 is working on 1.0.1 even though its dedicated for 1.0.2

from today I know 2.3 wont uninstall if 1.0.1 is running, as you said I had to update to 1.0.2 first

thx
