My HF LAV mic doesnt record audio with my Canon 5D Mark 2

Hello,
I have several Mics that I use and when I plug in in the mic on my Canon 5D mark 2 and use Magic lantern, I touch my mic and there is no sound being recorded only the internal mic of the 5d mark 2 records sound.

I have tried all the setting of the magic lantern:

internal mic
L:int R:ext
external stereo
L:int R:
Auto int/ext:

None of them record any audio and shows any level going up when I tap my mic with my finger.

I tried using first a Sennheiser ew 100 G3 Lav mic
then I tried Audio technic mic with AT8537 power module
Then I tried a regular mic with no power

nothing no sound is being record expect from the internal mic.

What I'm doing wrong ?
