Hi, can you help me to begin my dslr user carrier?
Tomorrow I am going to buy my first dslr and the main chose is between those two.

So as a beginner I am going for a body+kit. In my country price difference between 600d (550USD) and 700d(700USD) with kit's is about 1/4 more to 700d.

Is it really worth to pay around 150 USD more for digic5 ,touchscreen and few crosstype sensors?

Or should I go for 700d body (550USD) and search cheap 18-55 is II lens?

The 600d is a great camera. I have two. I think the t5i has full time autofocus in video mode. Pull up the specs for each model and do the comparison and see which one fits what you need. They are both nice cams for still and video in that price range.

t3i with ML does not have autofocus capability in video?

Oswald

If you considering to use on only video use, buy eos M. It is cheap (200 € + 50 € ef-m-efs adapter) and it has full time autofocus.  M is great at video, but autofocus is bit slow on photo mode and no tilty flip screen. :D

That's right. ML does not provide any video autofocus capability beyond what Canon implemented for either camera.

I thought that ML give possibility of video following focus to almost any xxxD canon dslr. :(
and does 700d video AF will work with another lenses?

It does allow for follow focus, but one must use their fingers to push buttons while using that feature. Follow focus does not provide for in camera continuous focus during video. I will recommend that you read the user manual just like I did before I even installed ML initially. It will provide you with just about all the info you need about the capabilities of v2.3.
