What do you mean, what is the best type of ML raw recording to later color correct? Or which type needs the least color correction in post? Or which software is best for color correcting ML raw?

Well, whatever you mean, Magic Lantern raw_rec and mlv_raw output the same video file type after conversion, 14-bit DNGs, some conversion tools output 16-bit CDNGs (with 2 bits as place holders, no real increase in quality), just that MLV includes an audio recording.

As far as color correcting in post, there are many software apps available to do the job that work well, just depends upon your preference/needed features/operating system.
