Reusing my ML cards from my 60D on my new 6D

I searched for this and can't find the answer, so sorry if this question has been asked before.

I've been using ML on my 60D for about a year with terrific results. I just received my new 6D- can I just pop in the cards and run, or do I have to go through the install process again with the new camera?

6D's bootflag has to be set and 6D's ML version isn't unified.
Means:
- You have to run installation for 6D. The proper one!
- You cannot use the same ML version for 60D and 6D!

You want to run ML on both cams? Use dedicated cards for each cam.

No I'm going to sell the 60D, but thanks for clearing that up! Do you know if I can reuse my config file to have all my settings back, or do I have to create a new one?

Can't test it.
I recommend to backup ML\Settings dir and go with defaults first. Then I would try transfering settings from backup to 6D's card.
You created config presets?

You can try it.  It shouldn't melt your camera 

But to be on the safe side, I would just start fresh.

I'll just start over. I didn't have any crazy settings anyway, so shouldn't be a big deal. Thanks guys!
