[5D MKIII] ANOTHER WORLD - short film - PROJECT 23

Hello,
I'd like to share interesting production in which I was involved. The idea was to recreate part of popular 90's game - Another World.
Almost everything was shot 24p with Canon 5D mkIII dslr in RAW mode:) We used 1000x KomputerBay cards.

Cool! Remember the game! Awesome music for that time!  Very nice, well done, especially bringing some of the known old styles (lasers, enemies) to the project!

This was completely awesome! Damn, you guys completely nailed the look and feel of the video game... usually these ideas come along being executed "somewhat ok", and with all that "I appreciate the effort" but hot damn, this one is a complete different league!
Congrats for all the creators, it was a joy to watch!

Also the Making Of was very inspiring. Seemed like fun, and respect for the attitude!
Few questions:

1) Did you use External monitor, or EVF?
2) Do you use waveform? If so, camera, EVF, external monitor?
3) Did you have monitor with playback or did you transfer and check your material some other way right after shooting?

4) It seems you've done some car videos, do you have any making of videos of them?

2) We had Magiclantern waveform turned on.
3) We used http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9560.0 for playback, sometimes b&w playback inside camera
4) Actually most of videos was done by Bartek: http://www.hlawka.com/index.php/ . I'll ask him if he got some BTS. Car scenes from Another World short were filmed with BeSteady.

I`m a director and DP of this short film. Thx for kind words. Unfortunately we didn`t have budget for such luxury  like external monitor or anamorphic lenses, it was made with almost "naked" 5d mk3 with old nikkor 50mm 1.4 lens and DIY anamorphic filter. All the money went into sets and light.
