significantly more metadata, easier/better filehandling.

.raw = a bit faster in writing, proof of concept, not further developed
.mlv = next logical step, add metadata, add audio, making above suitable for "daily use"

For me The main difference is;

i can record 720p clips continiously using Raw with my 650d,

but i can not do that using Mlv.

It would be great to have an updated topic like "Current raw video capabilities", it was one of the most useful stuff.

umm, I think you missed my point, http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=11243.0 is the new http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=6215.0

that's exactly what you asked for right?

If you are simply wanting an updated version of that spreadsheet, well then AFAIK, it is up to date. Most of the things on it aren't going to ever change anyway. (Buffer size, card speed, max res in LV, etc. all that stuff is dependent only on hardware)

It is not :) and it would be useful to have it with raw vs mlv.

It is not

In what way?

As dmilligan said, the spreadsheet lists specifications limited by hardware.

In what way?

spreadsheet is, post is not.
(it suggests to use mlv2dng which is outdated. mlv_dump should be used)
