Two lav mics hooked up to T2i with ML?

Hey guys. Been using ML for my 550D since it first debuted. Very much appreciated on all the hard work Alex and the contributors have done!

My question is I am looking to film a scene between two people speaking and wish for them to both be wearing a lav mic. I have two of them, and both of them are mono left. I have found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9vNFhUgDR4 which talks about getting the cables so I could hook up both of my mono lav mics into camera at same time. But it seems one would be left channel, and the other would go right channel, right?

Does ML offer for both the mics to be sent to a specific channel though? (I simply copy the audio feed in post and then swap left/right channels to make it stereo) Could I send both of the lav mics to be left channel for instance? Or is there a much easier solution that I'm not seeing here?

That should work. Make sure to set your audio source as external stereo from ML's audio menu.

Oh, I just realized my workflow doesn't change, right? I still do the swap channels and end up with essentially both of the mono feeds as stereo?

left - right (mono) audio track 1
right - left (mono) copy of audio track 1 with swap channels effect

left/right - left/right (stereo)

Yep, you just need to convert each mono channel to stereo in post
