Hello!

I was wondering if the latest build of ML can override the 4:2:2 8 bit 30D HDMI OUTPUT to 24D using FPS Override ? Also, is it still 8 bit or does ML allow 10 bit through HDMI OUT?
I usually have to to do a reverse pulldown in FPC to change the 29.97 to 23.976 fps, which isn't so bad using compressor.
Problem is Audio as well has to be changed since I have to record @ 29.97.

Need help on this!  Thanks!

:)

It's lock to the NTSC HDMI protocol of 8bit 60i 422 uncompressed 1.5Gb/s max bandwidth from the Jpeg encoder chip with embedded 24p,
The audio should not be a problem from 60i to 23.976p with a 3:2 pulldown or a "reverse telecine"
What is your HDMI recorder ? most new ones have a auto detent 3:2 pulldown . I use a first gen. Ninja it dose not but the Ninja 2's and up have
that enabled. I use compressor 4.1, it auto detent the pulldown to 23.976p from 60i and audio is fine.
This is with 5D2.

Hello Reddeer! I believe I just watched a video you had made with the 5D2 and the Ninja? Anyway, that's what I thought doing some research that the canon will split the 24 frames in the following way: 3:2 pulldown thus becoming 60i. HDMI recorder I'm getting is the Ninja Blade. So you're saying that the Ninja 2 or newer (including the ninja blade) will automatically remove pulldown and record @ prores (hq,normal,lt...) 4:2:2 8 bit (10 bit in the blade/ninja but not gaining color info, just for adding titles, vfx in post to work in 1024 tonal range instead of 256) uncompressed 23.976 (drop frame) or 24p max. bandwidth 188MB/sec ? Thanks for the help by they way... :)

Yes I did.
Yea the new Ninja Blade has 3:2 pulldown and with the 8bit signal it dose a 10bit color space up-conversion by dithering. Of course it's not True 10Bit
It's some where between 8bit & 10bit color, but still Very good it would be hard to tell the differences thou.
