Rain in Marseille / CANON 6D RAW / Resolve
« on: April 14, 2014, 07:49:11 PM »
One of the most interesting, sad, but wonderful cities in Europe. Couldnt use tripod there, recomended not take it to avoid attract too much attention :) So everything was filmed handheld.
Had to remove some good shots ruined by aliasing.

Magic Lantern RAW 14bit video.
Graded in Davinci Resolve.

Awesome cinematic look and editing.
What resolution did you use and what's your basic workflow?

in the description of your workflow you say LR. Is it LightRoom ? do you develop all your raws before Resolve ?

What Rez did you use?
Good footage doesn't make a story any better.

Ahaaaa... so handheld with the stabilized Tamron is a different story :) I was wondering: how on earth are those shots so tripod-like stable... Thanks!

Killer video. Love seeing the 6D used so effectively. Do you have a VAF filter for it? I see no moire on the brick work.

Thanx. No VAF. Took me some time to find the better angle. Considering to get VAF tho, video alias/moire wise will be same as  5D3.

RAWANIZER>LR>DR>VEGAS>VIMEO

basic :)

Probably you should switch from Rawanizer (not updated for a long time now) to mlv_dump or raw2cdng.

VC is good when it works :) On my lens it works for first 10-15 minutes only for some reason.

Is this normal for this Tamron? Maybe you can try and have it replaced...
