Hi,
I have a idea for you. I'm not sure is it good place for this discussion.
So:
I wonder is it possible to make external recording system for camera. Use HDMI output to transfer stream of data from a camera to other device. It may save some a procesor power. If the procesor will be relieve we may use it to do other things for example better encoding data from a sensor.

It will give us more possibilities with data carriers. We can use even video tapas or HDD.
If we gonna have: sensor (camera body), lens, data recorder, audio recorder, microphones separately we can create the best set what we need.
Some people may need very capacious drive, some may need very cheap data carrier where our data can lie for long time.

What do you think?
PS. Sorry for my poor english :)

This already exists, lots of people do this, you don't even need ML:

It won't save any processing power because encoding and other image processing are not actually done by the CPU, they are done with dedicated hardware.
