Hey Guys,

i'm new to the forum but i've been using Magic Lantern for a while now. At first on my 600D and now on my recently bought 50D. When i first recorded a RAW video on my 50D
i've noticed, that it runs very fast out of buffer and the video stoped after about 10 seconds. I then checked my settings but everything seemed ok (1280x720, 24 frames/sec).
I'm using a SanDisk Extreme 60 MB/s UDMA 32 GB CF Card. A little bit confused i ran a benchmark test on my CF Card on Magic Lantern and was shocked. I only can get up to 19 MB/s. I tried another card = same result. So what am i doing wrong  >:(
I also re-installed Magic Lantern and tried older and newer versions, but no success.

Looks like the CF card you're using is rated at 400X.

You might need to buy a faster card, like 800X or faster.

Forget about the "read" speed, the write speed can be substantially slower.

Also, you want to make sure Global Draw is OFF.

Objection, your honor!
I use the same card on 7D and write rates are nearly three times higher.
If you have a decent USB 3.0 cardreader you should run something CrystalDiskMark and/or ATTO. If your card fails again you have a faked card.
