Canon 5d2 to RAW (not MLV) to DNG to ACR to TIF to fcpx. I really get a better look with ACR than Resolve but it might be my lack of Resolve knowledge.

The key ingredient is prep - lots of testing and matching colours, makeup, hair etc and a £2k dress helps...

Light is a cineo trucolor HS - this has to be my favourite light -  it is as creamy as the dedo 650 (2nd best light in the world) - powerful as a 2.5kw and no heat, no noise.

You don't have to convert to Tiff's to edit in FCPX, If you use Cdng's Apple supports them native.
I have worked with Cdng's native in Motion 5.0, Compressor 4.1 and of course FCPX 10.1.1
