Automate conversion of Tiffs to Quicktime using Automator or Apple Script?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has written a script to convert multiple folders of Tiffs to Quicktime (or similar solution for MAC)?  I am trying to work out how to do it on Automator and found this article - http://macscripter.net/viewtopic.php?id=25547.  Unfortunately the video output is too low resolution and it is beyond my (nonexistent) python codewriting ability to amend it...

If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated, as  I know this would be a major step in making the RAW post processing workflow more practically usable on commercial projects.
