Raw + sound for for cards just below write speeds for MLV + Sound?

What happend to the old snd module for raw rec? Would it possible to use the code from mlv snd module that has eliminated dropped audio frames in a new raw rec snd module? Would be great as an option when MLV recording is just a bit to heavy for komputerbay 128gb cards in the lover write speed spectrum.

I thought the MLV module was more efficient than the RAW module.

unfortunately not... All my 1050x cards are stable in raw rec but none in mlv + sound. =/. Also i kinda like the simplicity of the raw rec module much less that can break =). No indexing required to watch clips in camera and with mlv viewer in windows.

Hello Markus,

If i use:

2880x1226 in 3x crop mode
FPS 18 (overridden from 24)
Memory Hack and extra hack ON
Allow frame skipping ON
Buffer fill method 3
CF only buffers 7
Card spanning on
The data speed gets up to 114MB and stays that way.
Guessing you have a faster card maybe you even have higher speeds.
Can you confirm?

I use the same card no problem.  Turn global draw off.

Yes If you're lucky and get a fast one that is the case, however many if not most are too slow for stable mlv full hd + sound cont.
