Hi, Don't no if it would be possible to have the option built in to ML for calculating F Stops? ie. you have 320th second at F16 put on a polarizing filter requires approx 2 stops extra so need to change the shutter speed for example to give the required correct exposure, sometimes hard to work out quickly. In the Sekonic L358 meter there is an option to calculate and to see what I am asking a little clearer please have a look at  http://www.sekonic.com/Classroom/Webinars/Measuring-and-Evaluating-Light-in-Landscape-Photography.aspx

At about the 30 Min 50 second mark.
Many thanks for a great product.

Hi, if you use the on camera exposimeter it will already compensate for the filter you have on the lens. You have to compensate with the sekonic because it has not the filter on when you meter.
And on the video he is measuring the filter light loss without considering that a polarizer has not a fixed f value, it depends on how you rotate it (to filter more or less polarized light). so again using the internal meter will be easier.
I'm using ML2.3 for photography with:
EOS 600DML | EOS 400Dplus | EOS 5D MLbeta5- EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro  - EF-S 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM - EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM - 580EXII - OsX, PS, LR, RawTherapee, LightZone -no video experience-
