50D can't turn movie restart off

I'm new to nightlys, I've used 2 versions now and I couldn't turn of "movie restart" off in either of them? I know where the option is, but is there more to it?

I wouldn't have such a problem with it if I could get the files to work, but I've tried a whole lot of things to no avail.

What are you talking about? There's no movie restart for raw video as far as I know...

with the tragic lantern it would reach about 4gb then stop, but with nightlys it just keeps going, it gives me a  .raw and a .r00, .r01, .r02 etc and I can't use them. http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=10136.new#new

okay, I still can't turn it off, but I managed to finally use the outputted files
