It seems that maybe it is hanging when reading the card. Have you tried other cards? You might also try this:

Remove card, remove battery, reinsert battery and start camera without card--that usually works for me. Next step is in the Canon menus reset to default settings. If that helps you should probably also delete the ML settings file on the card to go back to the ML default settings. If you're still having problems turn off the camera boot flag by running the ML installer and waiting a minute for it to turn off the boot flag. Worse case scenario reinstall the Canon 2.0.2 firmware and hope for the best.
Resetting settings worked for me, thank you!

I'm trying to use Topaz Video Enhance AI to upscale red and blue channels in order to create a better RGB video from RAW.
From one RAW file you can create R and B channels with half resolution, and then upscale them with AI into full resolution.
As for the G channel I just use averaging. It works quite nicely (no aliasing on EOS M and almost no color noise) however I ran into an issue: although I can split RAW into R, B and G fast enough, I can't do averaging for missing G pixels as fast enough with my tools. There must be some kind of RAW editor to do that, but I found mostly python and C code which is less desirable. Any suggestions?

Wow that's some useful information. Which splitter have you bought? Is there any difference between them?

General Help Q&A / Focus Pixels in Live View?
December 26, 2020, 07:08:45 PM
I noticed some image artifacts in live view on EOS M2 1.0.3. ML downloaded from here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cSYf5zOdpyO9ngAwwiEBT7t6tgbLm7x-/view. Artifacts also show up on raw videos and can be removed in MLVP using "remove focus pixels" tool. I assume those are focus pixels, but I found no mention of them appearing in live view. Not sure if it's camera's specific so posted it here. Can this be fixed?
