Can't wait to hear if 1280x600 in 10 bits really is possible, so Cameras with SD cards only can benefit from the latest RAW magic.  :P

I don't know if you all are following but it seems its possible to shoot 12 or 10 bit raw. If this works maybe we'll get full HD on the SD DSLRs.

There's another user that reported similar behavior, what were you trying to do when this happen?
I remember moving files from the card to my laptop and when I turned it back on I kept getting the error message. The battery level indicator would register full the entire time I would use the camera. After the battery ran out and I changed the battery I did some more shooting and moved the files. After that the error message showed up.

Thanks for another alpha release. Yesterday I kept getting an error message say that I needed to remove and reinstall the battery. Whenever I put fresh Canon batteries in my 7D it would read as empty. I removed the card and the error would still appear. After a few cycles of removing the battery and card I finally got the camera working normally. I'm a little hesitant to put the alpha back on my camera but I don't think that it'll brick my 7D. I kinda freaked out when it happened and formatted my card so I don't have the error dump file. Whenever I muster up the courage to reinstall the alpha and if I run into the issue again I'll upload the dump files. If I'm not mistaken it was an Error 30 message.

I'm very interested in this. I've been using the nightly builds. To use this am I replacing the autoexe.bin file with these or should I just wait for it to be implemented into a main release? I'd like to try this but not at the expense of my camera.

Yes, thanks for the prompt response. This error appeared both on the RC and the 2.3 release.

General Help Q&A / Green channel or sensor error

Herro!

I'm experiencing an error from time to time with the ML ISO configurations. I understand that the ML ISO supposedly pokes at the DIGIC processor to achieve the incremental ISO settings but is this dangerous with long term use? I've uploaded two videos to youtube that I've recorded with this error. Has anyone else experienced this error? Please help.

If I may add to this. To help with the banding issues you could use the technique in the video below. I've invested both in Cineform and Neatvideo and together they transform a very compressed image into footage ready for moderate color grading. Link to the tutorial here:
