when filming in the widest aspect ratio, is there anyway to get ahold of framing line cropmarks?

im guessing full 16:9 framing marks does not apply when shooting wider?

damn thats epic. really awsome!

how would you go about that workflow if you only had aftereffects? (i only have ae)? :)

sounds pretty epic and amazing. this requires someone to administer it all. it also reruires cooperation.
how will it work practically?

maby we in that case need a separate forum genre "share your videos - with narrative - . ?

really really cinematic colours.
exactly how did you get it so? and what luts?
what time of day was it filmed?
#56
im watchinf from my phone. is it just me or is the footage a bit soft? liking the colours though but a tad soft watching from the phone at least
#57
tack. skall fixa. sista delen använder jag stabilisator.
bör man köra med luts? kör ren rawvideo med viss förstärkning av färgerna.

andra tips utöver the obvious? :)

Raw Video / automatic restart shooting? possible?
April 24, 2016, 12:55:08 PM
I run 650d at 1790 x 972 (or something like that) in 18fps. this gives me around 6-6.5 seconds of pretty nice quality.

i would like to when rawshooting 1 video is finished, that it automatically restarts videoing after about 3-4 seconds? is that possible? i tried movie tweeks "restart shooting" but it wont work?

Raw Video / 650d 3x crop mode?
April 22, 2016, 07:12:12 AM
when trying to record raw on my 650d it seems to go to 5x crop mode instead of 3x cropmode like on my 600d.

is there someway and if so, how do i enter 3x crop mode on my 650d? :/

Sorry, wasnt able to get the focus right waking up with blurry eyesight very tired in the middle of the night to capture this.

but due to the extremley easy timelaps feature of ML, (ht fps override) i managed to at least capture the spirit of it. :)

visiontech and canon is great when the lighting is optimal.

but in heavy mid day lighting and for that more cinematic feel its CINESTYLE or FLAAT12 thats the best.

flaat12 is really sickly awsome :)

almost HDR

General Help Q&A / The hobbit framerate achivable?
October 26, 2012, 03:50:44 PM
Is 48p (48 frames per second) achiavable via magic lantern? I Guess its not achivable in 1080mode but in 720 mode?

or that dont wokr?

she shutter and the recorded frame is two different things. Theoretically with 1/12 shutter it should be very bright and blurry (much motion blur) but recorded with 60frames per second.

if this is not achivable 720 60frames per second and shutter override to 1 /12 then its my misstake.

When i tried it it it was no difference than 72024p and 1/12 (shutter override)

Bump.

Could somebody confirm that 60p720 with shutterspeed override 1/12 will look the same (when slowed down)

as 24p720 but with better light?

is that possible with ML? (no sound though)

If you were to record 720p with 60frames per second and the shutter fps override to 1/12 and then in post use slowmo to get normal speed but great more f stops.

can 60fps really be recorded i720 with fps override?

Ah. but on youtube someone (without ml could record in NTSC 24p with 1/50) becase 1/50 at 24p was more cinematic than 1/60

shoulr i rather go 1/47 or 1/60 you guys think?
