You may want to add some information about the build you use.
And some settings info would be fine, too: RAW/JPEG? ISO used and NR settings in Canon's menu.

Hi, I have used ML for about 3 years and have the latest installed, I shoot RAW all the time, use a hand held meter and always shoot in manual mode, In camera Noise reduction is set to off as I do some night stuff.
I tried native ISO 160 for Canon and also 100 ISO with the same result.
The article can be found at http://www.hdrone.com/2013/01/magic-lantern-for-hdr-extending-your-cameras-bracketing-capabilities/
Thank you for the reply

Hi,Just read an article on HDR ONE site concerning HDR Photography with MagicLantern and the guy seems to have the same problem as I do (Not everytime) and replies to his article date back as much as 2 years.. If I set for example 7 brackets to shoot, press the shutter and 7 are taken and then another 7, I thought it was maybe my Camera 600D shutter button so I tried a cable release and had the same result.
Anyone else having this or anyone no what the problem may be?
I have tried re-install after a format on the card and also another card.
Many Thanks
Russ.

General Help Q&A / 600D HDR 5 x 1 stop then...
June 20, 2014, 04:27:35 PM
Hi, I have a 600D and  I set the option to take 5 x images at 1 stop apart it takes 5 then for some reason takes another 4. Does not happen every-time. Don't have the shutter pressed for the 4 camera just takes them.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks

You took a picture of your screen ‽ :) joke!

Try to run in a terminal cr2hdr your_picture.cr2 and try to open it into OnOne, and then we will know if the problem comes from cr2hdr in LR plugin or from cr2hdr only ;)
Hi, Sorry not sure what you are asking but I have tried exporting from Lightroom to Photoshop CS 6 and a single image to Machinery HDR pro with excellent results in both. Not being savvy in all this software programing talk it makes it sound complected to change things.
Thanks again

Hi, Firstly thank you the reply.
I exported the DNG to OnOne direct from Lightroom and also from a saved version on computer.
These are the results I have, in Lightroom great.

Hi, OK plonker question!!
I do not understand any of the tech stuff about change this string or that letter what I need to no in simple terms is how once I have finished with the image in Lightroom how do I get it to show in my external editor (OnOne suite 8.5) without the lines all across the image. It looks great in Lightroom but when exported direct or even to a folder and opened from the OnOne suite I get the lines?
Many Thanks for the Lightroom plug-in works great.

Press SHIFT key and hold it. Place cursor onto your desktop, press left mouse button. Use "Open command window here". A black screen with white letters is opening and a blinking underscore sign. Type
CR2HDR myfile.cr2
Replace myfile.cr2 with the filename you want to be processed. File has to be present in the desktop dir, too. Look for error/status messages.
Many, Many, Thanks for your help, got it to work.

Feature Requests / Re: [ALREADY DONE] Self Timer
March 14, 2013, 01:03:30 PM
Hi, Sorry I think you misunderstood my question.
I see that in the Bulb Timer that you can set BULB timer from 1s to 8hrs but does that not mean that the shutter will stay open for the time set?
What I need to do is extend the time from clicking the shutter it self timer mode to the shutter actually opening at this time on the 600D the max set by Canon is 10 secs  and that is not enough time for me to get into position away from the camera.
Many thanks for the reply in the first place.

Hi, I use the 600D and just set AEB to shoot AUTODETECT in ML and have no problems so give it a try and see if that works correctly, it's a great feature for HDR photography.

Feature Requests / Stop Meter Possible?
August 18, 2012, 09:44:08 AM
Hi, Don't no if it would be possible to have the option built in to ML for calculating F Stops? ie. you have 320th second at F16 put on a polarizing filter requires approx 2 stops extra so need to change the shutter speed for example to give the required correct exposure, sometimes hard to work out quickly. In the Sekonic L358 meter there is an option to calculate and to see what I am asking a little clearer please have a look at  http://www.sekonic.com/Classroom/Webinars/Measuring-and-Evaluating-Light-in-Landscape-Photography.aspx

At about the 30 Min 50 second mark.
Many thanks for a great product.

General Help Q&A / Re: firmware question
August 14, 2012, 09:43:23 AM
Hi, You should update the firmware even if you would not be using ML. Firmware is put out there by the companies for a reason. I use the 600D and updated before installing ML.

Hi, I have the new ML installed for about a week and have been trying to work out how I can set the  intervalometer so the camera will take a photo at say 30 seconds duration then have a two second gap and take another at 30 seconds and another and so on so I can use the photo/s for photo stacking but when I set the  intervalometer instead of taking frames at the time set ( shutter stays open 30 seconds) then close then 2 seconds opens take another 30 second exposure the camera just keeps firing every two seconds. Can this be done? The 30 second exposure with 2 seconds between each frame capture?
Canon 600D/T3i. and have set the shutter to 30 seconds with the camera in 'M' mode
Many thanks and hope someone understands the question.

General Help Q&A / AEB on 600D/T3i
July 29, 2012, 02:37:23 PM
Hi, Quick question. On my 600D/T3i I have set AEB for HDR photography shooting (not video) but cannot figure out how to get the camera to take more than 7 exposures, I have tried 'M' mode and 'TV' but it will only take 7 exposures. Is it possible to increase the number please and how?
Many Thanks
