Hey guys, sorry if this is a dumb question I searched forum for "extra frames (1)" "(1)" and "(1) frames" and I couldnt find anything. I am getting some random frames doubled with a (1) in the file name. This has never happened to me before, the video doesn't seem to be affected but I have to delete these frames to import the sequence. Is this something with the newest build or did I change something? Thanks for your help in advance.

Edit: It was a 15 second clip at 1080p MLV using the march 12th 2017 build, 24 fps. Frame 175, 194, 300, 312, 323, 365 all got doubled.
I'm using the MLVFS.exe to create my DNGs. I hope this helps. Thanks again.

Did we ever get a cf card extender to work? Can we use raspberry pi as the controller to both act as a cf card to the camera and unload it to the ssd inside a USB 3.0 enclosure attached to the raspberry pi? Pi can power the drive so we only have to worry about power to the pi.

That's awesome! Thank you!

Ohh Walter you got me good  :P

Do you not have faith in these guys? They were unable to unlock raw video recording, you don't think they could unlock the dual pixel?

Hello everyone! I'm curious if anyone believes it's possible to write a dual pixel moduke for the dual pixel sensors, not for the focus shift but is it possible to apply ISO gain to half of the information from the pixel and get a dual iso without resolution loss. I'm curious, what other possibilities does magic lantern have if each pixel can record two different values?

With the 5d4 helping to reveal more information about the dual pixel sensors could there be a new dual iso 2.0?

Please forgive my ignorance on this subject, it might be wishful thinking but the dual pixel sensors I believe might have some potential if Magic Lantern could write firmware to get a grip on that.

Is there anything we, mere mortals can do to help? What are the next steps?

I don't know how to code. I'm willing to help. I own a 7d2. Where can I go to start learning thumb assembly?

I have in the past messed with Bosch engine management, engine tuning.

THANK YOU! I just wanted to make sure you understand how much I appreciate this software.

I haven't posted yet but I am also having issues trying to convert my .mlv files into prores or dng, anything. I'm on a PC though. I can't seem to get anything to work.
Not trying to high jack your post but can you point me in the direction of a PC workflow? Thanks in advance.

Ok! Hello everyone, and thanks again for getting ML on the SL1!

So far my workflow working with .raw is simple, Im still very new. I use Rawanizer and I open up a "raw sequence" in Adobe after effects, do my raw adjustments to the first frame and I have my video in After Effects. Its working great, I am using .raw format, 640 resolution. My issue that the video isnt clean, I am unsure how to describe what is going on. I am getting green broken up lines across the frame. Thank you for all your help and hard work.

EDIT: I found the issue. If I turn off dual ISO while shooting raw footage I get cleaner video. I no longer get the green broken up lines.

Hello everyone! 100D.100A worked for me.

The only issue I have seen so far is the screen flickering, but it doesnt seem t affect anything other than just being annoying. I need some faster cards to play with the raw video functions more. I'll report back after I play with it more. Thank you so much for getting ML on the 100D!
