did you try the script two-three posts up? Doubleclick the command. g3gg0 fixed everything two work fluently with spanned files.

problems with dng previews
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9727.0

This script gives dng-files, feel free to modify the script to get raw or something else.

My folder is on my desktop and I do following. Check the uploaded picture

In terminal I write as follows:

cd desktop (enter)
cd mlvaudio (enter)
chmod +rxw recursive0.4.command (enter)

#7154
You have to follow the steps in the first post.

"NOTE: If you get permission errors, use Terminal to go to the folder you extracted files from step #2, and write
chmod +rxw recursive0.4.command - this will give all permissions needed)"

Do you include the batchscript in AE to your lut?
#7156
What happens when you run the scrip command?

Raw Video / Re: Slow Motion on Canon Mark 3 Raw

I think I would go for 50fps. Here,s a comparison and a workflow I recently made

I paid about 430 dollars here in sweden for min 128gb transcend.
I have a 3.0 usb reader lexar.
I think you get around 30minutes recording time
#7160
I use mine as fat32. Transcends 1000x
#7161
I filled my 64gb card three weeks ago and with Alex wizardry (I think backupsolution) I managed to extract my files. There was even a messaged asking if my card was full :).
#7162
I googled the 128gb 1000x transcend before buying and someone reports it as slower. Mine is smooth as butter and really fast. The cards also very tolerant to all my different readers. Had other cards which got corrupt either in camera or in readers before. Transcends still lasts though, never failed.

A 5d mark 3. Havn, t tried it on a 5d mark 2.
My 128 is actually a bit faster than my transcend 64gb 1000x. Both cards records 25fps 1920x1080

I'm a little confused about how the cards are labeled. Some of them are labeled like "1000x", and others are labeled in MB/s. You say that 1000x would work for 83Mb/sec, but it would seem like cards that are labeled 120 MB/s would work much better than. Do you know how 1000x would translate to MB/sec?

Sandisk makes a 120mb card, referring to readspeed. However, writespeed is only about 60mb/s on that card. You want a card with writespeeds that goes around 100mb/s. Personally I recommend transcend 1000x cards. I Have a 128gb which works perfect. It states going up to 120mb/s writespeed.

update*
changing from .mlv to the next clip (O,P buttons) results in the next clip keeping the first played clips name. This results in merging the audio from the first file to the next file being exported. For now I have to close down the app and restart to get the names from the files played in the app. GOing from .RAW won,t let me change to the next clip at all.
Mac os X 10.9, 5d mark 3
Otherwise, it,s the finest exporter out there.
Big, big thanks

Oh man! THis is so friggin awesome. Log! White balance, sound, colour. Amazing! Just tried it and what a moment :)
Love the keyboard workflow.

Bug.
Tried to the change to previous/next file and on my computer and it works fine going from .MLV files to both .RAW and .MLV but when starting out from a .RAW file I can,t use the change to previous/next file. I tried with files filmed with a 5d mark 3, Mac os X 10.9.

The log is awesome and to be able to change brightness and whitebalance works very good. So nice!
Exporting works fine and with audio too. Sweet
Can,t thank you enough

Think 1000x is minimum. Search for cards. Lots of testing. I use transcend both 64 and 128gb 1000x. Works for me
#7168
I see. Tried combining dng and wav :)
#7169
Nice!
Try to run the script with python launcher in mac, OSX mavericks and get this? Any suggestions?
Good work.

A little test

Here,s a comparison between two aspect ratios on a 5d mark 3 and a tutorial how to restretch several clips in 50fps in after effects.
Conclusion

(16:9) 1728 x 606 50fps works continuous and works fine interpolated to 1920x1080

Other fine alternative aspect ratio continuous is 1920x544(2:20:1)

@protoltype
I,d be interested in a comparison between red epic and ml raw in let,s say 50fps and 1920x606. Could be done in 5 seconds clips.

I usually rename Mlrawviewer so I have about four or more which can encode simultaneously. It, s a great program. Keep up the good work.

I was under the impression audio was recorded through canon audio menu settings? At least it is when I change audio levels manually while fiming mlv raw.
