Raw Video / Re: dual iso+hdr raw video?
August 03, 2016, 11:19:36 PM
Well if you would do something like hdr 100/3200 and dual iso 400/1600 it would probably get you some extra midrange. Don,t think this would show in end result anyway.

Why don,t you try yourself? There must be a conflict when going back and forth in hdr iso and running dual iso settings at the same time. My suggestion is stick with hdr if not using dual iso in 3x zoom mode.  I say stick to hdr since you mention slow movement.
Feel free to check out MLP if on mac for post processing.

How do you process the cr2 files? It should be done by right clicking a folder containing CR2 files. Are you running (r) from the menu command? That will probably not work.
Did you check page 5 in the user_guide?

Feature Requests / Re: Audio Notes

You can record regular H264 mov with audio. If it,s right after taking a photo you will have them paired by timestamp and can easily be sorted in your os.

How will you mount an EFs lens to a 5D?
#5656
There,s actually nothing wrong with the file. Try set exposure for correct highlights(dark shadows) and set something like 100-1600 for dual iso. Contrasty situations.
In post pull out the shadows and pull down the highlights. Test, test, test. And post your results.

I just googled some and it seems to be a common issue. Check if the answer isn,t already there for you. Good luck

If you put sudo before makefile?
Wild guess.

Interesting.
Try working with the tone curve tool as it,s linear opposed to non linear highlight recovery in acr.

The only way I can get back clouds like this in a linear way is through dcraw (-H 2 option) but that will mean for you leaving the current colorspace system and that itself has its caveats. If recovery of highlights like shown can be done outside acr I am very keen to know how it,s done.
Feel free to put up a dng file for tests.

Great solving. If I get the time I might put in a little crying sign if there,s an older ffmpeg version installed in MLP :)
#5662
If you follow the userguide you have a good chance of getting things right. Otherwise it,s a lottery ;).
#5663
Great! Good that your 70D is working. There has been many reports of 70D dng files which won,t open in acr but that doesn,t seem to be a problem in your case.

Reread your answer. It was specifically about the 1200D so maybe better answered here.

Good to to hear :) The processed dng in MLP will bring in the correct white balance metadata as well so that,s yet another reason to use it.

If on mac dforts thread here(link below) has some really good info about compiling. Great to see a new cam come alive.

Thats a good lighting example for HDR.  Could you pm me it for testing?
What are your aim here. The files in A_lut_hold is for raw/mlv workflow?
Tblend will never be good with footage below 48 fps right now. I suggest you try with HDR_enfuse_settings.txt file and the keep_correct_fps.txt file. And skip the luts as well. When footage is aligned you probably won,t see any ghosting.
Also check if you have enfuse installed.

Hi ciriuss925. Yes, It,s no longer maintained mainly due to E l capitan installation issues. I will put a note about it. Use MLP and check page 5 in the user guide. It should work straight away.

The problem was with permission of that specific binary. Keeping framerate HDR workflow should be tested more. There are some interpolation steps due to enfuse causing flickery edges otherwise. This itself could maybe be problematic with lots of movement for instance.
#5670
@Bobbyshots2 enfuse problem been solved with teamviewer seesion. Enfuse binary needed chmod u=rwx permissions and after this it went smoothly. Good luck with the footage.
#5671
Great TK... that you got MLP working and thanks deafeyejedi.
#5672
Sent you a PM. The install script should say if you have enfuse installed or not.
#5674
And command line options updated as well. Great. Will test asap.
#5675
As long as you maximize frames from 48 fps and upwards I,d say go for tblend filter. In other cases enfuse workflow with align function on(default) both h264 and raw/mlv.
