I just installed the 23rd Apr on my 70D and have a couple of comments.

First - I really like ML and appreciate the work that goes on to make it happen.

I notice a problem with buttons that I think is ongoing.  In still photography, when I push
the playback button then the + button to enlarge the image, it jumps to full zoom immediately.
I think the "set"  button is also "twitchy".

The second issue should probably be directed to the ETTR forum, but maybe it belongs here???
I use the "set" button to trigger ETTR. Given you need to be in RAW mode AND manual mode AND
the ISO value set to non-auto, it would be nice if when either of these is wrong and you press "set"
that the ETTR module would print something saying whats wrong.  It took me a set these values after
loading the latest version.

If you have problems with the latest version, you should be more specific so the developers can address them.

I'm playing with ETTR right and I'm trying to use the Half Double Click mode.  Sometimes when
I do the double click, ML does the exposure evaluation and is ready for me to take my photo.

Sometimes I do the double click but it does not trigger the exposure evaluation.  If I change to
using the Set button, every time I push it it works.  Half-Double Click?  many times it works, many
times it doesn't.

Any ideas why Half Double Click is finicky?

I'm using the 12/23 70D Beta firmware.

I have been trying to use ETTR and it has been frustrating. Note I'm using a 70D beta-3 22/Dec version of ML.

The Wiki page (http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/ettr) says that you can use either Av or M mode:

"2. Put the camera in manual M mode or Av mode (either one since you must the aperture yourself), and set ISO to any number except in Auto. It wont work in auto! "

After much frustration using Av mode, I came across the following in the forum:

"- Put your camera to M and manual ISO."

I tried that (M mode) and tings got much better.

So which is correct?  Should Av mode work?  It seems like it should, but.... no joy when I try to use it.

I'm new to the forum and ML, so excuse me if this is not specific enough.  I've downloaded the latest version
to experiment with ETTR and I notice that in general,...

the 'set' button is extremely sensitive, almost glitchy.  It's as if it needs debounced.

This is not specific to ETTR, it applies to all menu items I've been trying.

The normal Canon menu items do not show this.
