Those transitions are so disturbing that I even could not watch the video till the end.
#2
good idea!

Is it possible to have both old raw rec with the sound (old module) with the new one in the same build? In case I want to decide recording audio without the compression but most of the time will be no audio with compression.
#4
will be possible in near future using lossless compression alongside with sound recording? Anyone working on it or there are too much work to be done?
#5
I cannot find information about missing mlv sound recording missing in the experimental branch - why I cannot record sound ?
#6
ok its probably not udma7 - there is only udma text on the adapter

Raw Video / Re: Continuous 30fps on a 5D3?

go with experimental branch https://builds.magiclantern.fm/experiments.html which adds support for compressed RAW and you can continuously shoot even with slower CF cards.

I have tried udma7 and it is slow (15MB/sec) on SD card which was supposed to go 40MB so I gave up. If you will find some adapter which is able to handle at least 60MB/sec (which is now full HD 24p continuous shooting) let me know

adtg_gui.mo - is there new version which is compatible with current experimental branches crop_rec? the currnet link on 1st page does not work with it

General Development / Focus peaking DIGIC idea
April 28, 2017, 06:26:33 PM
I have found myself that the DIGIC focus peaking feature is quite good but bad for normal video preview. I have an idea - whenever focusing ring is touched it could change the focuspeaking to some DIGIC mode and immediately back to normal video preview. Is that possible to do via LUA or it has to be coded directly into the magic lantern? Any other likes this idea?

all problems gone, good job! Thank you.
#12
I have just checked another iso file and it has the same exact problem, after 72 frames green frames happened.
#13
this latest version converted first 56 frames OK (including vertical stripes removing) but the rest of 56-222 frames are green again
#14
I can try more footage but I'm convinced it will do for all. I was actually not using dualiso because of very long postprocess but this application with parallelisation and automation rocks so I wanted to use it :)

what is exactly -f and how I can remove it as a workaround?

#15
I have reverted to previous cr2hdr which has the green problem - first of two images are without vertical stripes - I have uploaded it to the same link under directory WithoutStripes
(please note that I'm using still the same .MLV which is also uploaded there

I have uploaded few DNGs here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B650ZX3ln336MWJ1VDZISGNxTkk

the postimg.org changed resolution, here is the same picture where stripes are clearly visible:

#17
It is the same MLV file I have uploaded to dropbox. Here is the new DNG which exhibits vertical stripes:

and here is for comparison previous version which removed vertical stripes (but it broken all other images)

#18
I have tried the latest cr2hrd_lj92.dmg but it does not remove vertical strips now (I have checked that I did not disabled it)
#19
Hi Dane, yes without stripes correction there is no problem - but there are vertical stripes now which I need to correct. Do you know how to fix it?
#20
cr2hd.app - but will it work with the compressed lj92 feature?
#21
Here it is: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B650ZX3ln336QzlvVWhTanRiY2M

let me know how it decodes on yours machine
#22
Edit: I have tried to turn off ls92 compression in MLV menu (the same result) so its not compression issue

This is first frame:

this is second frame (bad) and all others are bad
#23
Hi, I'm trying to process dual_iso with lossless compressino enabled (lj92) - first few frames are normal but then a lot of greenish frames until the end. Is this known issue?

(even if I disable lossless compression after few frames the rest are greenish)
#24
thank you! It works including vertical stripes removing.

Alex - is vertical stripes removing possible inside the camera before it is even compressed? Or the vertical stripes has to be always corrected out of the camera?
#25
I'm getting 100% usage on CPU (all cores) when I try to copy files from mounted mlv which has compressed lossless raw. Is this known issue on macos version? (I even do not see the usage in "top" command - (system 100% cpu)

edit: this was probably because I selected bad pixel checkbox. Now without it it is blazing fast.

Another question - is there any mlv_dump version which can correct (and force it) vertical stripes?
