Hello, I was wondering if the EOS M could shoot continuous at 1080p at a 4x3(1436 x 1080) aspect ratio? I am planning on shooting a short film this summer and want to get better quality video than what my Fuji xt1 can get. I have a Kowa 2x anamorphic that I plan on using so I'd like to shoot at 4x3 so that I get a 2.4 aspect ratio after the stretch. My main concern is that the EOS M has a limited record time at anything deeper than 10 bit at that ratio but I can not find specific information about it and I would like to know for curtain before pulling the trigger on buying one. Thank you.
I have the same equipments. I'm recently shooting continuous at 1392x1158. With 2x stretch, the resolution changes 2784x1158 (2.40:1 aspect ratio). Of course, you can also shoot continuous 1536x1158 if you want (1:33 a/r to 2.66:1 a/r).

Thank you for your comments. @dfort, thanks for the tips, I already used mlv-app at post-processing but didn't manage remove that heavy moire. I think we should more care about dresses, as you said. @Tony, Pentax 50mm f1.4 is really sharp lens. I didn't use any sharpness filter in post-processing (only adobe camera raw's standart sharpness), used the lens all scenes at f/2.8. Also, my post process steps: "Mlv App" for convert mlv's to dng's, after effects (with camera raw) for editing, visionlog and colorista for color grading.

I looked at the link, cannot see many details.
It says "DC iris": so can you change the aperture of this lens during capture?

They wrote wrong, it has manuel iris. I asked to seller before ordered.

-Did you shot in 1536x642 or in 1280x536 resolution from the ML menu of EOS M?
- I made a simple web search for the "Mieka" 12mm/f1.4 lens that you describe but did not find anything about it.
- Shot 1536x642 in ML, downscaled to 720p in After Effects.
- Mieka 12mm f/1.4 is noname cctv lens I think, many of like this on ebay or aliexpress. It's very cheap, arround $20. Written "Made in Japan" on the lens: http://www.furkanmuhendislik.com.tr/miekalens.html

1536x642 to 1280x536 (2.39:1) (Downscaled to 720p because of 500mb video limit of vimeo, otherwise bitrate wasn't enough for 1536x642)

Thanks. It's very difficult to use 3x zoom mode even using a wide lens such as 22mm, but it's better than 5x mode. MlvMystic is very simple and fast especially working with multiple files. But chorma smooth 2x2 mode isn't good:

After that, I'm going to use mlvmystic without cs2x2 and raw2dng_2x2 for remove the pink dots. (I didn't use mlv converter so I don't know the difference)
