Like it a lot, very professional result. Were you alone on set? Any lights, reflectors used?
Hi all,

I shot these videos this spring using the 10-bit module, had problems with vertical stripes then, using MLVFS, hopefully not too visible in the end.
Shot with shoulder rig, and Canon L 16-35mm lens. Simple grade using a Log-C starting point i Resolve. Hope you like it!

Thanks bpv5p! Nice to have all this DR to play around with.
Hi all,
would like to share a short teaser for a documentary project im working on. It is portraits of four norwegian artists working with wood as material. Shot on 5D3, mostly 10bit raw this spring. The films are not finished yet, but the teaser is sort of. Let me know what you think.

I like it, lovely colors! Some microjitter from the handheld shots, but otherwise really nice to look at.

Is there a way to get a trimmed (no reencoding) canon H264 .mov + sound w/o blackframe ? I'd like to test it to edit offline, and then make an online edit on resolve with CDNG using MLVFS. It could be a fast and lightweight workflow.

Sounds like a good workflow
Do you have card spanning on? Then your sound might be on the sd card as an .m00 file.

The sound was added afterwards. I can't wait to have the sound module in the next revision of ML.
Me too. Will be a peak ML moment ;)
Wow! Love what you are getting out of the camera. All sound added in post? Where you concerned on not clipping highlights when exposing? Nice work!
Wow, so this means we can get another 30mb/s write speed. I would like to try it out.
Did a quick un-scientific test of the same scene in 10-, 12- and 14-bit 1080p.
Only 10-bit shows the horizontal stripes, so the best workaround when using MLVFS seems to be shooting in 12-bit!

Yes, the example was not the best. But, I experience it a lot of the time with my 10-bit footage (uncompressed)
I experience the same thing, cant get rid of the vertical stripes with MLVFS.. even with the fix on. its too bad because it makes the fastest workflow less usable.

Hi everyone, just finished this short thing for the university. Its shot in 10-bit Raw on 5D3, 1080p, converted in Resolve (log C) and some tweaking in premiere. Shot the same thing non-raw last year, and its not even close image wise.. Really quickly done, high iso adds some unwanted grain.
Hope you enjoy it!

Is there a method to importing mlvs into Davinci resolve that is faster than manually clicking each folder and individually adding each video file?
Choose davinci resolve file names, then  all folders shows up as clips in resolve.

I did a try too :

@gutterpump you make art out of a camera test. Beautiful!
Couple of export suggestions: change fps (i.e timelapse, slomo), up-/downscaling (4k, 720p etc.)
Thanks! Great to test with the new Footage app :)
Really cool, thanks alot!

I have some suggestions: [edit:] toggle grade on/off, reset grade, zooming in preview window (to check noise, sharpness)
Beautiful layout. Nice work :)

(yeah, and app crashes when exporting, im on macOS sierra)
Wow, great progress! if there are any non-coders who know about marketing, here's your chance to contribute to ML development.
I think a similar function is called center scan mode on Sony cameras

Yes, I bought some good working ones off ebay. Search and you will find.

Also curious about this. Is 12-bit RAW production safe?
The black level error seems to be the biggest concern imo..
I like this. I think the 3:2 format is very useable and creatively inspiring. Those russian lenses shines and renders colors beautifully.

I just bought the new ikan 4" monitor with a loupe. Looks really good. Will fit well with my planned low weight shoulder rig, i hope [emoji4]
