Now it works, at least for me. Thanks!

Nikfreak, just tested your Jan06 build.
First one produced just garbage on all bit depths and updated build is pretty much the same.
And resolution got limited to width 832 on updated build. I'm using MLVFS & Darktable.
Here is a sample what it looks like.

Hello Nikfreak, I ran some bitrate tests today.

1080p 25fps ALL-I ~10s clips
0.5x -> 69.9 Mbps
3x -> 70.0 Mbps
q16 -> 69.8 Mbps
q-16 -> 69.9 Mbps

1080p 24fps ALL-I ~10s clips
0.5x / 3x / q16 / q-16 -> 71 Mbps

720p 50fps ALL-I ~10s clips
0.5x / 3x / q16 / q-16 -> 78 Mbps

Unfortunately, for me there were no effect whatsoever settings I did use.

Edit: As Walter Schulz suggested, i tested IPB modes too.

1080p 25fps IPB ~10s clips
0.5x / 3x / q16 / q-16 -> 29.5 Mbps

1080p 24fps IPB ~10s clips
0.5x / 3x / q16 / q-16 -> 29.4 Mbps

720p 50fps IPB ~10s clips
0.5x / 3x / q16 / q-16 -> 25.8  Mbps

Delete ML directory and Autoexec.bin from card. Copy extracted nightly build contents to card. Retry and report.
A-ha! That's why there were no HDR. I had beta-1 compiled 8AM @ Aug22 and this which is on first site now is compiled 11PM @ Aug22. I should have guessed there can be newer builds with same name and version. But thanks for noticing, now it works.

Open your eyes:
I tried but with no success, still no HDR option in movie menu or modules list :)

Did you enable the required modules first and reboot cam?
There's no HDR module on module list. Where I can get it?
edit: Gradual exposure doesn't have loadable module in list but it is present on movie menu.

I downloaded latest beta-1 but I don't have HDR option in movie menu, am I missing something?

Just tested (with ISO 200) and the results are:
NO_SLURP
EDMAC_33

is there any other way to remove hot pixels when converting to DNG?
For MLV->DNG conversion I don't know other option than mlvfs with bad-pix option enabled, but if converting DNG to PNG is no problem then one can use some image processing software like GMIC with batch/bash script to apply dead pixel removal for every image file.

Hi, so far I've tested alpha6, on movie mode ML overlay reports shutter speed as 'n/a' and MLV metadata 'infinity' or 0/1000.
Also I had no dead pixels on RAW video with alpha5b and now with alpha6 there are lots of them. Of course I can get rid of bad pixels easily with mlvfs using --bad-pix switch but processing frames will be lot slower.
