Very nice grade and cleans shots.

But masks at 0:18 and 0:27 are not clean. We can easly see borders of masks.

I think you could use just simple transitions.

Thank you for your comment. you are right. it could be done that way.

I like it!

Any particular reason why you had the lights and light stands in the background?

Thanks. no particular reason. the photographer was shooting and i had to shoot the video at the same time! :)

Very nice job, I especially liked the titles. One thing I would change is to switch the dolly at 00:19 and the one at 00:46 as the move-into-scene generally belongs, from a language perspective, to the beginning of the action while the move-out dolly is more suited to the ending.

100% agree with you now that i review it... you are bad! ;)

Amazing work once again @Ali Oliya -- especially for handheld with a 70-200L II IS. Love that glass as I wish to own one. Play with one at work tons tho!
Thank you bro! I actually rented that glass too.. have you heard about Tamron 70-200 new series? i heard it beats Canon 70-200! with much less price...

QuoteAssuming these so called microjitters were from using 24-70 2.8 @ 70mm, right? I've learned that's it works better when you hold the camera like its a plastic cup (without squeezing too much) when it comes to using zoom with no IS.
yes right and Thanks for the tip..i will keep it in mind. what i learned so far is to never touch the camera without a rig or IS.

QuoteI prefer the sharpness from the 24-70L than the smoothness of 24-105L though a tad slower. Life's full of compromises.
24-70 is a very needed lens for video. much much better than the clumsy slow 24-105.

QuoteMaybe already did but have you tried using some Stabilizer-plugin while in post?
yes i did some warp stabilizing on 24-70 footages. it worked in some shots and never worked in jmicrojittery shots. thats why i left them that way.

QuoteGreat use of these lighting sources. Are most of these flares you produce coming from the actual Sunlight coming through or the LED's?  :)
No, they were all some light leaks curated footages (from Lens Distortion) added in post with screen blending :)

QuoteSo glad you are still utilizing the most out of Cinelog-DCP -- it really stands out well in your films as of late.
Cinelog-DCP is a magic. works like charm. i believe its the best thing you can grant to your Raw footages. so close to Alexa LogC

QuoteI call it film because you keep it as authentic as it can be when it comes to MLV RAW. Two thumbs, my friend!
Very kind of you my friend. I'm glad you you think so!

I like it, lovely colors! Some microjitter from the handheld shots, but otherwise really nice to look at.

Thank you. lesson learned. I will consider using a rig from now on..

The location is kinda disturbing for a girl with scarf in luxury clothing. It feels like a statement of some kind.

It's Iran here and women must wear scarfs. we shot 6 set of different outfits in this location.
lovely and peaceful...

if you don't mind...what is the shotgun mic model?  and do you record the sound separately using a zoom or something?
is it a Glidecam?

Does anyone know where I might be able to download the Alexa lut used in this video. Google doesnt seem to bring up the lut.

the alternative to that is the Alexa LUT in Lumetri color in premiere and after effect

Nice grading. Can you tell more about color post processing?

Thank you! I converted DNGs to Cinelog-C space in AE. exported to prores444. imported in premier. used Lumetri Color plugin. used "[CFL] Agfa CP30 grade01" LUT (from CineLog-C LUT bank). decreased the intensity to 20. then added film convert. and used Arri Alexa LogCfilm for the source camera / FJ Prov 100 for the film stock/ no grain. at the end tweaked the highlight and shadows in Lumetri Color basic parameters. hope that helped?

I dig the colors. What glass did you use for this?

Thanks. I used Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 II and Sigma Art 35mm f1.4

Looking good! Out of curiosity, was that all 1080p or one of the higher-res modes?

Hi...All 1080p. does it look sharp??!  :)

@ Danne

worked like charm. Thanks a lot!

cr2hdr app is unable to extract few of my MLV files that exceeds 4GB limit (MLV and M00, M01....). it only creates 1 pink frame. any help with that?
QuoteCan someone write tutorial about how to rec on these modes? Why do I get this instead of DNG? What mlv_dump for?
mlv_dump is lovely!!  make sure you use the mlv_dump in experiment page. otherwise you end up with noisy pink DNGs. been there before.  or you can try the amazing (note: dont judge the frames by their thumbnails. open them in photoshop to see if they are converted right. and not the first frame also!)
I see you have opened the first frame which is usually pink and corrupted with this mode. have you tried other frames too?!

this is MLV_Lite with this build which is different than the old MLV. MLVRawviewer and raw2cdng can't open it or they deliver pink DNGs instead.
@Danne - Thank you! Sorry, it was the 1st time using this app! done. fixed. now i can open .dngs in AE without problem.

@DeafEyeJedi Thanks for your help
@Danne - yes, i can not choose the file. it can't be selected:

@DeafEyeJedi - i used cr2hdr app from Danne. But it doesnt let me open the MLV file at all! .mlv file is grayed out....(same as rawmagic)

ps. i used crop rec 3k-4k 14 April expermiment build btw. so far the only software that is able to open the .mlv files from this build is MLV_Dump (for mac). (raw2cdng opens but creates pink dngs!)
@DeafEyeJedi  yes it was corrupted. i deleted it. still doesn't open. but the error message changed to: After Effects error: Photoshop file format error (-1). (45 :: 35)

I used mlv_dump in mac for creating dngs. but unable to open them in After Effects CC 2017. Photoshop opens files with no problem. but AE gives me this error:  "after effects error: the file formay module not parse that file. (45::35)"
QuoteML -->Movie -->Raw Video -->Resolution  when you're in resolution without open menu scoll the wheel on top or move the joystick left and right you should increment or decrement vertical resolution of 16 pixel each time you move it

wow finally made it :D its only in RAW Video not in MLV Raw. thank you!
