Loaded this onto my cf card (7D). When I turned on the camera, the led flashed a couple of times and nothing.
That is:
- no image appeared on the screen
- ML didn't load
- canon menu operational
The autoexe.bin used was downloaded from the link in Alex's 1st post.
Should I be doing anything else to "run' it?
Quote from: StianAarr on February 22, 2014, 08:02:01 PMCanon doesn't keep old fw updates on their sites.
1. Just download the original Canon 7D update ( 2.0.3 ), from their webpage.
Quote from: StianAarr on February 22, 2014, 08:02:01 PMIf you properly install ML then that's not true what you wrote.
4. Your'e done and MagicLantern is installed on your 7D, but! You'll have to "update" it with the ML files every time you want to use it, and if you format your card, it will delete ALL your files, including ML files, so if you format your CF card, you'll have to move the MAGIC.fir and ML.zip into the CF card again, but it would'nt take a too long time.

I am not responsible for any damage too your camera, i've done this 4 times before with both 5D and 7D, and never failed, so it is easy

Does anyone know where I can find the 2.0.3 Canon firmware?
Quote from: porsha12345 on February 16, 2015, 03:37:53 PMThen you should bring your camera to a Canon service...
the only way i can see anything is if i attach a monitor with a HDMI cable to the camera...other than that its black
Quote from: Pileot on February 13, 2015, 05:13:42 AMYou can see how fast it is:
The SD card slot is FAST. Not sure how fast, but its fast.
Quote from: Greg on December 27, 2014, 02:15:54 PM
It seems that the 7D2 is the first Canon camera with SD slot faster than 45MB/s
SD SanDisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s - http://www.cameramemoryspeed.com/canon-7d-mark-ii/fastest-sd-cf-card-comparison/
74.9MB/s
So CF + SD will be about 175 - 200MB/s
