Known problem, not so many buttons on the camera, maybe this thread will yield something helpful in the future: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=18544.0

Great yo know. As a stills photographer I'm not that interested in large and fast SD cards.
It's not about fast, you'll still be limited by the camera interface, but in this case that brand of cards (and maybe those models exactly, as you can read in the "shutter bug issue") make the camera usable with ML.

@Licaon_Kter -- I know you're watching but have you tried that test build I posted?
Not yet, I'll try it asap.
The tricky black screen has been here for a while. :(

I see this as useful :)

@Maximo: Each new 5DIV camera that @a1ex receives for free in order to develop ML for, will increase chances by 5%!

You can start coding right away... see http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=14828.0

You know you have very little memory to work with, right?

Read from post #30 onwards: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5071.msg166799#msg166799

Also, could you do this (whatever you want) from LUA scripting instead? (memory limitated still)

just pop Canon official 2.0.2 on the card and downgrade.

Or use the experimental 2.0.3 from @dfort https://bitbucket.org/daniel_fort/magic-lantern/downloads

It only took Canon 4 years to show that it cares though.

Too bad M3/M5 are not really EOS.

General Development / Re: String localization?
January 21, 2017, 11:22:23 AM
The Android way with strings is pretty nice, just drop a strings-XX.xml and be done.

Is that possible (read easy) to implement in C?

@DeafEyeJedi: Strong the force is in young kitty of yours... full video jamming almost achieved...  8)

Guess it's easier to make one from scratch, say using Lubuntu and these: https://developer.arm.com/open-source/gnu-toolchain/gnu-rm/downloads

BTW, do you want to build something new or to test those in the works?  Did you see the new page with experiments builds: https://builds.magiclantern.fm/experiments.html ?

So close to merger, thanks for the continous development.  :o

Hi. What's the highest available video resolution when shooting Raw and h264 on Eos M?
H.264 is 1080p@30fps max, as Canon does
RAW it depends, do test

Quote from: matyineni on January 11, 2017, 12:36:37 PM
i noticed that in the latest build ther's no option to shoot in RAW, only in 3xH.264.
Did you enabled the MLV_REC/MLV_SND modules first and restarted the camera, right?

Would this help for Autoexpo ( http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7208.250 ) ?
Right now on EOS M we don't have enough hardware buttons to actually use it.
