You should ask the user that compiled it I guess.

Quote from: Mcpackin on September 17, 2015, 01:32:47 AMI have been using the build from Aug 13th and I have noticed a few things that could be normal or possibly a bug?
1. Fixed here ( https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/pull-requests/650/dpjpandone-fixes-magic-zoom-flicker-on/diff ) I guess, once a1ex pulls it anyway.
2. Canon UI does this too, not sure ML can force it otherwise. Although it would be useful to highlight it, like: https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issues/2257/selected-wheel-setting-marked
3. Not that I know.

There are a couple of fixes/improvements in the pipline but nothing earth shattering. I guess that once a1ex comes back they'll be officially integrated too.

Any major bug encountered?

During record mode or ML menu?

I ask because when NOT recording it's on 30fps no matter what setting.

Once you begin recording it will do it at the desired fps.

Maybe you can detail exactly the steps you set up and the result?

Pressing * ( star ) in M/Tv/Av mode does focus, right?
If it does, then go to Canon menu, custom functions CFn IV 5 and I guess is in mode 1 or 3, so you need to put it in 0 or 2 ;)

I may be wrong but I believe a 6D only uses SD cards for storage. That would mean limited bandwidth and resolution for recording in RAW.

MLV_REC

I for one did not bother with the old format, was there any imediate thing that old format did better though?

Well it's not perfect.

1080@30
fps override 45
low jello 180
crop on
raw 960x540
globaldraw off
info debug

also got the shutter to 180degrees

it yields >1000 frames since the card can't keep up
lowering the res a bit you can get it to work forever

He was referring to the 5D mark ii  limited to fat32 (4GB files)
I understand, the camera does not matter, repeat after me: "the FAT32 4GB FILE SIZE LIMIT DOES NOT MATTER for RAW when recording with MLV_REC as .MLV/.Mxx files"
#224
First he mentions the 4gb limit... where there IS NO such limit (for RAW anyway) in place actually.
#225
@markodarko: after 4gb are full MLV_REC module creates a M00 file and after another 4gb another M01 and so on. What's the issue exactly since RAW video in MLV format is NOT limited to 4GB anyway since MLVFS loads the files MLV and Mxx automatictly?
