Changing resolutions how? If you get a reproducable freeze we have something look at here, otherwise it´s just normal buggy eosm behaviour ;)

nothing to do, this latest version, July 9th, in my eos m is completely crazy

Well, I need a way to reproduce this issue. Steps described in detail.

Sorry Danne, not to find a sequence that reproduces the error. Initially it seemed to be 5k and 4k resolutions but changing the resolution the problem disappeared. Instead, by changing the resolutions to test them, I get to a "freeze" without any operating buttons and I have to remove the batteries. Unfortunately I can't say anything else at the moment.

You have to start in 3x crop (5x zoom) first , so liveview should say "2144x1074" default crop_mode
then enable 4k 3x1 preset next , refresh liveview again , stay there for a few second (record a few second it you like)
then go directly to FHD48p preset with out refreshing liveview , crop menu will say 48p & frame size of 4064x590 .
next press half shutter then the zoom button once , should now be in FHD 48p (1856x774)
Here a quick flow chart showing the process .

.
I uploaded the July 15th build, the same thing happened with a build about a month ago: all the modules I enable don't download, they give "error".Ideas? Thanks

today I did some quick tests with the eos M (4.5k 10bit lossless) and the red helium 16 bit in 4 and 8k. Luminous scene, ettr ... the eos has made a good figure working with 6bit less and compressed, the thing that struck me negatively was the alias, practically I saw a scale for the 3x1, maybe something I didn't set well in the mlvapp?

Hi David, but it's possible see well in the liveview or only streched?

Thanks...I have used magic lantern since 2012 but Alzheimer is progressing quickly... :) :)   :)

yes, but not from the card that seems damaged, I installed the firmware with three different builds from the card that works
#12
the eos m with this card does not start anymore: first I thought about the camera, I remove the battery but nothing to do, it doesn't start. I remove the sd and format the sd in the card reader, in the meantime I start magic lantern with the other card: ML starts again. Load the defective sd reformatted on the eos and formated into eos. I remove the card and load the latest version of ML, eos m turns on, I can record from the canon menu, take photos, etc .: ML but no signs of life, the screen that would be arranged for it is empty, only the two horizontal lines of 16: 9. I have redone everything changing versions, with the other card it works, with this card nothing.
#13
I have another card I make comparisons with it, I formatted the bad one from the pc, then from the eos and finally loaded the build of 12 July, 11 July and 7 June. Nothing, with the other card works well, as always

I checked all the indicators just arrived from amazon: true sd sandisk. It worked until we had this problem, I shot a documentary, 4 hours of recording

sd sandisk pro 128gb, read speed 170, four hours of shooting with the sd overclocking module, no longer reads the magic lantern firmware. Record normally from the canon menu. I've tried everything, deep format, old builds ... ideas? Anybody has the same problem?

I think will be start with the mlvfs on windows 10-resolve...it work on win10? I read difficulty in lot opinions.

will it be possible that the timecode of each single clip can be set or at least, follow the camera clock? to avoid that every clip starts from 0 that confuses the passage between AVID and DAVINCI RESOLVE? Thanks!

You miss the silver version dfort ;)

New version:
https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9741.msg208959#msg208959

- Added the more up to date cinema ratio 2.39:1 into the preset menu in crop mode sub menu. Works on all presets:
- Updated the lua cinema script to enter 4K anamorphic rewired 2.39:1 mode as starting point

2.39:1

Grazie Danne, will be mine settings for the next documentaries

Hi, mlvfs work or not? Shelved o updated I see many old post here. I need to use eosm and 5dm2 4.5k with focus pixels and 3k of reddercity build and Davinci resolve 15. Thanks for any idea.

Maybe tomorrow, now work :(...THANKS

I'm starting to classify my documentary filmed with eosm 4.5k 2.35: 1 in davinci, setting the project in 4k dci but the closest option is 2.39, how do you work? do you leave the black bands and then cut them on delivery?
