Hi ..I use 3k 1:1 crop mode with a resolution of 2560x 1440 that becomes 2560 x 1320 16:9 when pressing the x5 ..
the problem is that when I frame the image is not centred .the centre move to the right on the camera monitor and also on an
external monitor ...the 2560x1440 seems more centred but I do not get the image on the hdmi monitor only when I press x5 I see the image on the monitor
even if enlarged .

Hope I was clear....does anybody know how to have a centered image with the x 5 option?

hi, is there a way to see what are you really filming with an external monitor...in 5x,
also for focus that for me it is alway a bit out..

am a bit confused , cause I cant find the 4k options and the fhd 48 fps...for canon 5d m3
I mean I ve downloaded the final built on the nightly lastest builts but was no able to see the 4 k option
and the slow motion one..

is it possible to use Canon 6d with the x 4 switch + to make higher  resolution...I heard might be too much and dangerous for the sensor that may crash ?!

I ve tried once but I saw on the monitor in strange black and white with flicks ..so I stopped using it...

hello, i did not understand if with the last built the 50d can do full hd at 30fps...no crop

I tried the ML Dec 17 for canon 5d mark II  , and all the time I use it. after that I take the card out to transfer the footage, but if I turn on the camera this does not turn on..even putting back the cf with ML.
To restart the camera I have to take the battery,lens and card  off , press the shutter button for at least 15 seconds ..insert the lens the battery the card that has to be formatted...and than the camera starts
again...I am happy with the result with ML but am afraid to damage the camera going on like this..
On ML I upload only the raw video mlv.

Anybody has the same problem?

Hello, didi not understand (am new to magic lantern) if it is possible to record on an external recorder as Blackmagic Shuffle via Hdmi in raw..this may solve many problematics with cards..
for example I bought a lexar card 32gb 1000x and am not able to record 1920x1080 only smaller sizes..yes I can crop a bit..but if don t want crop ..
moreover did not understand if the 1920x1080 30 p is it available? anybody knows?
