Here are some of my benchmark results using the Komputerbay 32GB SDHC 600x on a 700D:

As you can see the one card got a maximum write speed of 28.9 MB\s, and the other card got a write speed of 30.1 MB\s.
The maximum resolutions that will consistently record 24p raw are 1280 x 536 for the first, and 1344 x 562 for the other card. Those are 2.39:1.
I recorded an 18GB raw file, 14.675 frames at 1344 x 562 with no problems. Taking the resolution up however, will result in 3 second files :(

The cards are rated to go at 40 Mb/s write and 90 MB/s read.
I formatted the cards as ExFAT with the default allocation unit size..

Am I using the right settings? Is 30 MB/s really the best i can get? SD cards don't really come faster :'(
Is it possible to tweak it a bit more, or format the card differently to get better results?

The Komputerbay SD cards come in 8Gb, 16GB and 32GB for SDHC. 64GB and 128GB for the SDXC ones. They say the 128GB card does 60 MB/s write, but for $ 125, I don't feel like trying it out.

Thanks ^^

Hello all, I'm new to the Magic Lantern firmware stuff :p
I read about it and it seems too good to be true :D

I own a Canon 700D, and I have a lot of questions :p

I posted some questions in here
