Hi

Im using Magic Lantern Raw footage from a 5D iii and my workflow is as follows:

1: MLVs to DNG using MLV Mystic
2: DNG to ProRes 422 individual clips in Resolve (Some 25p some 50p)
3: Edit on a 25p timeline, using "speed/duration" to slow down 50p clips
4: Export Finalcut XML
5: Rename proxies folder
6: Import to Resolve 11.1, relinking DNG's in place of ProRes proxies

Now my cuts are all there and it uses the correct source file for each clip on the timeline, but all of the slow motion clips are using the wrong section of the source file and seem to be running at 12.5 fps or something.

The audio on the timeline is also using the wrong sections of the linked audio (recorded separately from clips).

Any ideas whats happening? Ive tried Resolve and Finalcut 7 for mixed framerate options.

Any update on those Resolve LUT's?

Sounds great Andy. So you expect your debayering engine to be on a par with ACR?

Next question, have you tried this with filmconvert? If so, which camera profile would work best? At the moment I select BMD film to work with my ML raw footage.

We've begun developing an app we're tentatively calling 'Cinelink' that ingests, debayers, converts and renders to whatever codecs you have installed and it has plugin capability for better debayering algorithms, noise reduction, scaling, DCP Camera profiles (i.e. Cinelog) and LUTs etc all-in-one. Cinelog will also be ACES compatible and we will submit our 3rd party IDT's for the currently unsupported Canon DSLRs to the Academy for consideration. If we get the technical stuff and measurements right (and that is a big IF) it might even end up in Resolve at some point.

Do you intend the initial version of this to utilise ACR to debayer? Will it utilise GPU?

I'm very very interested in your product as I'm about to launch into a potentially long term documentary project which I will shoot on 5Diii Raw. Smaller LOG prores files are going to be a must for me, but the render speed of resolve lite is something I am loath to leave behind.

Hello

Where is the information about the new 1.2.3 port? I have read through the last few pages of the nightly build thread and seen this development referenced as a "milestone", and now i see this thread here, but i cant see a 1.2.3 download in the nightly builds and nor can i find any more information about it. Am i missing something?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is an irritating question. I know developers find people like me, who dont fully grasp where everything is, annoying.

Im now using the 10/02/14 build and have got my RAW histogram back (i just had something set wrong), but every time i hit record all of my information from histogram to frame crop disappears. All i see is a video camera symbol in the top right of the monitor letting me know im recording and a time counter. Any ideas??

Hi

Im using the Feb 03 build with the sound module added, but i cant see my raw histogram anymore. Any ideas why? Its def switch on in the ML menu...

Also im getting skipped frames and it only sometimes lets me get continuous at 1920 x 1080 which never used to happen with RAW
